Leeds gears up for its biggest wellbeing week - 1st - 7th June 2026
Over 40 wellbeing events have been confirmed for an upcoming week-long festival to improve the wellbeing of people across the city of Leeds.
The final programme has been confirmed for Monday 1st June to Saturday 7th June, and attendees can expect workshops on mental health, neurodiversity, stress and burnout, as well as activities including deep house yoga, meditation, sound baths, and community-led discussions.
Leeds Wellbeing Week 2026 is run by HelloHope and supported by headline sponsor EGYM Hussle.
A business focused day features on 2nd June at Department, Leeds Dock, commencing the day with singing for wellbeing, before HelloHope’s founder and CEO delivers a talk ‘Hope in action: mental health and suicide prevention’ followed by a session on burnout by Rich Morley and Gary King before EGYM Hussle runs an afternoon panel session on ‘what great employers are doing differently’.
Further partners and sponsors include Leeds City Council (Active Leeds) which is offering everyone a free swim or gym at one of its 16 leisure facilities across the city. Step Into Sophrology is running an event to help people improve their mind-body connection on Thursday 4th June, Hypnotherapy Lounge Leeds is covering stress management and wellbeing on Wednesday 3rd June and Sage Ayurvedic, a meditation and massage company and sponsors of the weekend, is running a retreat on Saturday 6 and closing the week with a wellbeing festival on Sunday 7 June.
Venue partners include Nexus, Royal Armouries, Department, The Attic, Malmaison, The Mansion, humanSpaces, Clockwise and Village Hotels.

Leeds Wellbeing Week takes place from 1–7 June 2026. The week aims to raise awareness of different aspects of wellbeing, reduce stigma and make wellbeing support more visible and accessible across the city. The programme will include events in workplaces, outdoors and locations across Leeds city centre and its suburbs.

- Stress Less, Talk More: A networking event by Nicky Lloyd Greame
- Laughter Yoga for Wellness: A special yoga session, accessible to everyone
- Forest Bathing for Wellbeing: A two-hour session at Roundhay Park, focusing on reconnecting with nature
- The Hidden Cost of Always Coping: A restorative workshop with yoga nidra techniques
- The Presence Effect Choir – a joyful and nourishing 90-minute session exploring the power of mindful singing.
- Calm Business Clinic (drop in sessions Monday-Friday): A specific session for therapists, health/wellbeing professionals, and qualified coaches
Tuesday 2 June, Department, Leeds Dock
- Voices United: Ahead of the upcoming World Cup, this fun and welcoming singing workshop will see attendees sing an iconic football anthem to explore the power of singing to bring people together, lift mood and create connection
- Hope in action – Mental health and suicide prevention: A must-attend talk by HelloHope, about workplace wellbeing and emphasising the powerful impacts of suicide prevention.
- Understanding burnout and stress – Rich Morley and Gary King explore
- what stress, anxiety, and burnout are doing to business owners, leaders, and teams, and how to recognise the early warning signs before people hit the wall.

- Fengshui Workshop: By accessing Feng Shui and the bagua, a Chinese philosophy, you can learn to create harmony, balance, and flow in your home
- How to feel calm and empowered in this frenetic and entertain world: Experience simple exercises that help feel a sense of release and peace
